The ‘home-produced’ music scene is booming at the moment, with the price of equipment going down, and the accessibility going up, it means that almost anyone can produce their own forms of music. This chillwave gem titled Fluorescent Nights is courtesy of UK beat-maker Echo Shade, combining dance influences with soulful, laidback vibes. The insanely catchy hook forms the centre piece of the track, whilst the sampled vocals float exquisitely over the top. With one EP already under his belt, and another EP expected later this summer, I’m extremely excited for what else this young producer has up his sleeve.
