Despite only being eighteen, there’s a real maturity to the songwriting from North London’s Emma McGrath, hence it coming as little surprise to know that she’s been writing her own material since she was twelve years old.

Latest single, Love You Better, isn’t a million miles from Fleetwood Mac, or the HAIM sisters, in it’s knack for picking out a killer hook and making it thrillingly addictive, whilst still proving pretty hard hitting lyrically – ‘I’ll be fine / either way / I won’t use my heart / to make you stay’.
