This is definitely a first for me.
Hearing someone rap over a Future Islands (Doves to be precise) sample is a pretty good talking point, and somewhat bizarrely, it works. This latest track from Cleveland’s Alex Forte, lifted from a recent EP release, has a Kanye Graduation vibe to it at points in the delivery; playful yet undeniably slick – not to mention covering some pretty important, hard hitting subjects.
