Chicago’s flourishing underground scene has spoilt us with their R&B offerings in the past few years, with the likes of THE-DRUM and Supreme Cuts proving particular highlights; well now we can add one more name to the ever growing list: the promising act Openwater. With Brandon Marx’s debut track he dives head first into a sea of late night electrified R&B ambiance and grows into an emotional pop freakout that places him amidst the ones to watch for the rest of 2014.
