DID are a three-piece band from Turin, Italy. They describe themselves as avant-pop lovers and from the irresistibly intoxicating rhythm of new track SKILLS, this description seems perfectly apt. Razoring guitar stabs sit among a largely electronic backdrop as the track morphs into a playful, auto-tuned hook that has lodged itself neatly in the back of my head. Good stuff.
SKILLS was released on July 1st alongside remixes from Larry Gus (DFA) and Vaghe Stelle (Astro:Dynamics).
