On Monday night local (North East) heroes Vinyl Jacket made their triumphant return at the Head of Steam, after a year long break from playing gigs.
Playing to a packed out venue, the Wylam lads showed just how exciting 2014 could potentially be for them. A tighter performance than I’ve ever seen from them before, racing through an entire set of new material, including opener Jupiter (below), it felt like a real step up. With the right gigs, a few more videos like below, and of course, a bit of luck along the way, Vinyl Jacket and their great haircuts will go far.
