This beast is fresh outta the bag.

I must say, I fucking hate trumpet or saxophone solos sometimes (unless they’re used by Guido), but the horn here works so undeniably well. The catchy garage rhythm balances out the smoky jazz bar cheese, brought together by an ominously deep synth line. This is as cool as you can get. Up-and-comer Drop/Dead is pulling a lot of stops out of the bag – his recent remix of Brooklynite Kuhn was one of the best remixes I’ve heard in recent months. This guy is really one to watch. Let’s hope someone picks some of his stuff up, it’s gagging to be put out there.
