Bizarrely named after the retired Spanish footballer, Ivan Campo have been riding the Manchester freak folk scene for years.

Keeping off the mainstream’s radar and clinging tightly to creative control of their compositions. Campo’s cleverly constructed melodies are captivating. Their lyrics often intricate and intelligent.

To celebrate the launch of their newest album ‘Seven Ancient Wonders’ the band is giving away two tracks, Terracotta Army and Porcelain Pagoda, available to download free from their Bandcamp page, you can also stream them below.

If you’re in Manchester you can even hit the album launch party tonight at the Castle Hotel, with support from Otters Gear. Tickets are £5 with a free EP on the door.
