Whereas the first couple of post-WU LYF offerings from Ellery Roberts could quite easily have passed as second album demos for the ill fated Mancunian outfit, he’s discovered a new direction through the Lost Under Heaven moniker, with partner in crime Ebony Hoorn.
Still drawing from the big-pop inspirations that littered Go Tell Fire, it’s a further call to arms, and one that’s gradually beginning to make sense. Spiritual Songs for Lovers to Sing is out 6th May on Mute.
