French Films earmarked themselves out as a one to watch with their debut EP Golden Sea back in 2010, and have been working hard on new material since then.
Despite a break of almost 10 months since their last release, it’s clear that they’ve not lost their uncanny knack for writing catchy, upbeat indie pop, as displayed by new single When People Like You Filled The Heavens. As with previous material, it’s classically 80’s inspired, drawing from The Smiths and The Jam to form a raucously enjoyable three minute pop gem. Check it out below.
