I’ve been off my game for the past couple of weeks, mainly due to university deadlines and other such exciting occurrences.
Anyway, London five piece HYLA seem to be the perfect act to return with. Their first outing, You And I is five minutes of sprawling, downbeat jazz inspired beauty, followed by an almost post-rock crescendo, serving for one of this years most impressively ambitious debut tracks. HYLA are Lilli Unwin, Oscar Laurence, Amané Suganami, James Wilson and Jake Long.
