Repetition is a delicate art, the ability to create something that remains interesting, despite plugging the shit of it. Dam Mantle’s new single, ‘Not a word’, gets it just right. It contains a hook that holds with its painful sentiment, but yet still holds a wondrous infidelity that’s hard to lay a finger on. The production remains graceful, while the vocals that hold the song together are fleeting and heartbreakingly stuttering.
