The NME Radar tour is in full swing, packing out every venue that it passes through with Crack In The Road favourites Anna Calvi and Grouplove performing headline and main support sets respectively. However when the tour landed in Manchester, it was boy/girl duo Big Deal that really caught out attention. Beginning life as ‘Hard Cheese‘, Big Deal have been gaining the attention of fans and critics alike with their ‘anti twee’ sound, performing stripped down sets which see the band only perform with a guitar each and the harmonies from their vocals. Crack In The Road caught up with Big Deal before their gig at Manchester Academy, and the band were kind enough to let us record a couple of tracks. Enjoy!
