Dropped earlier today, The Preakness is Panda Bear’s contribution to the Keep cassette, made available at midnight today. Animal Collective have designed a pair of trainers to be released alongside a cassette featuring tracks from various band members, with all profits going to Socorro Island Conservation Fund. Continuing very much in a similar vein to upcoming record Tom Boy; it’s a glorious lo-fi infused track, merging elegant vocals and a formulaic yet captivating beat. Listen to it below.
