This debut single from Toronto’s Teen Ravine (Nick Rose and Dan Griffin) is gloriously 80’s inspired – there’s almost a kinda Glenn Frey vibe to it.

In terms of more modern contemporaries, it feels a little like a cross between The 1975 and Wild Nothing – slightly less pop than the Mancunian outfit, slightly more upbeat than WN. Check out Friend of a Friend below.
