Having been almost a month since I’ve posted anything (dissertation woes), I knew it would take something special to get me back into the routine, and this new track from Flo Morrissey is definitely special.
Having spent the past couple of years refining her style, Pages of Gold is her ‘debut’ single as such, showcasing a fuller, even more beautiful sound than her initial demos hinted at. With the vocal elegance of Lana Del Rey and the melodic longing of Beach House, it’s a more than welcome return.
