Blood Cultures is far and away one of my favourite ’emerging’ artists of recent years.
Still managing to maintain the ‘mysterious’ element that helped pique interest at the very beginning, the New Jersey artist has dropped his third track, the more refined, less pop-orientated Meavy Hetal. Again sitting somewhere between the squelchy synths of Jai Paul, and the reverb-laden vocals of Washed Out, it’s another indication that Blood Cultures is the real deal.
