With his early output drawing numerous comparisons to Rayner’s Lane one and only, Aus songwriter / producer YEO has been gradually moving further and further away from the now over-populated sound.
His newest track, KOBE is about as out and out pop as he’s ventured so far, and it’s absolutely glorious. A bit of tidying up round the edges, and you’re looking at a hit, yet it’s the slight discrepancies that make it such an appealing listen.
