The worst part of Christmas is undoubtedly sifting through the avalanche of awful Xmas songs and ‘presents’ (read unwanted tracks) put out by artists.
Thankfully amongst all the hours of shoddy covers, there’s a few gems that stand out. New Zealand’s Broods made their mark with their debut track Bridges (produced by none other than Joel Little, aka the co-songwriter / producer behind Lorde’s Royals), and have now returned with their sophomore track, Never Gonna Change. Another slice of intriguing, dark, synth-pop, Broods show yet again that 2014 is going to be mightily exciting for them.
