This lo-fi gem from Philadelphia’s gaze just gets better and better with repeated listens.

As with most synth-led lo-fi, I’m going to make the obvious Casiotone comparison, especially when it comes to the poetic nature of dear father. In it’s most simplistic form, it’s a letter to a parent, begging for answers about a missed childhood, acting both as a ‘fuck you’ to an absent dad, and a letter of appreciation to an adoring mother.
