And with that Death Grips became one of the most important bands of our generation. With 2 albums due out on Epic records this year, the first of which is due April 24, this could be the year the band lurch into the mainstream. What’s increasingly exciting is the bands’ loyalty to their sound, despite signing to a label nothing has been watered down, each track is as inaccessible and brutish as the last.
